The Venue - Farnham Castle
One of the oldest continually inhabited buildings in Southern England; Farnham Castle was the
home of the powerful Bishops of Winchester for over 900 years.
This unique location has now been adapted to the needs of a modern international business
training and conference centre. It also provides an impressive location for corporate and private
events.
Playing an important part in the life of the town, the Keep and the Bishop's Palace are popular
local tourist attractions. Historical associations and nearly continuous occupancy make the Castle
one of the most important historical buildings in the south of England. To learn more please visit
the Farnham Castle website.
For the ‘Soul at the Castle’ events the Castle’s Great Hall is used as the ‘Main Room’ for dancing,
while the Castle’s smaller Dining Room provides a more intimate setting as the ‘Club Room’,
serving up an eclectic mix of music from different soul genres for those that like a little more
variety. The Stone Hall separating the two rooms hosts the Bar Area.
